MANY YIZKHOR BOOKS, books of rememberance, have been written for many of the shtetls that disappeared when the Nazis swept through Poland, the Baltics, the Balkans, and Western Russia. While books have been written for Plock, Sierpc, and Wyszograd, there is no official, printed volume about the shtetl Drobin.

Drobin is located northwest of Warsaw, the Polish capital, and it is located in the Plock district.

This account of the shtetl of Drobnin contains the following information.

  • Timeline
  • Detailed History of Drobin
  • Trial testimony by Milton Buki against Kaduk
  • Drobniner Martyrs' Monument.
  • Detailed Account of the Reburial of the Tombstones
  • The Independent Drobniner Benevolent Society.
  • Map showing the towns of Drobin, Plock, and Wysograd in the modern Plock district
  • Map showing the Polish provinces of the Russian Empire in 1902. Drobin does not appear on the map, but Plock, Sierpc, and Wyszograd do.
  • Each page listed above has links back to this page and to the next page on the list, like a guided tour.
