Well well well, another unsolicited opinion on the
Internet. Why should my opinions take up any room on the World Wide Web? Well, if
they are short, why not? I figure it this way--if I can be critical in 1000 words
or less, I can learn to be more succinct, and perhaps I can steer folks to or from
a variety of movies or books.
I had once had the notion of writing film criticism for a living, but I became somehow convinced that being an archivist, a teacher, or a film critic was not going to happen--and keep me housed and fed. So, I stuck to the "glamorous" world of publishing and am now about to finish my Masters of Library Science. But, I am an avid moviegoer and reader, and eater, and I like to write. So, here are my opinions on things that you might find intersecting your life.
